Could Patrice Bergeron come and sponsor the future captain of the Canadiens?

As my colleague Keven Mawn mentioned earlier in the day, the new general manager of the Montreal Canadiens, Kent Hughes, confirmed that his team will be able to count on a captain next season.
Speculation as to who will have the honour of wearing the famous captain's "C" is therefore well underway at the moment. No «leader» really stands out in the Habs locker room, but could this leadership come from elsewhere in the league?
Indeed, when talking about Nick Suzuki, Hughes wanted to remind us that having a mentor could be extremely beneficial for the young centre, as was the case for a certain Patrice Bergeron in Boston, who had the chance to play alongside Mark Recchi.
It didn't take less for some fans to consider the idea of seeing this same Patrice Bergeron come to sponsor Nick Suzuki, as Recchi had done for him at the time, and this, as of next season.
Number 37 of the Bruins runs out after the last season of an eight-year contract, which he signed in 2014, thanks to the good work of his agent and friend Kent Hughes.
Now that he has become CEO of the Canadiens, could Bergeron let himself be tempted to come and finish his career at home, in Quebec, and thus reciprocate Hughes by playing the role of mentor for one of his best young men, in Nick Suzuki? To be continued...
