This morning, Josh Anderson was skating on a regular trio, the one considered the first of the team. Following training, Dominique Ducharme practically assured that his power forward would be in action Monday afternoon against the Arizona Coyotes.
Tyler Toffoli skated with a contactless sweater, and the head coach clarified his case following the day's session:
The "Toff" could come back to the game soon, but not before the duels against Colorado or Vegas. So number 73 will not be in action until next Thursday or Saturday.
On December 6, we learned that Toffoli's injury was at his hand and he had to go under the bistouris to get it repaired. We were talking about six weeks of absence, which is consistent with what we saw today (Saturday).
In Brossard, Jesse Ylonen, Rafael Harvey-Pinard, Alex Belzile and Paul Byron skated, which is positive.
So much for a complete update at the Montreal Canadiens.
