Earlier this week, the National Hockey League announced the list of players that will be in Las Vegas for the weekend of February 5. Among the names we have Nick Suzuki who will be the representative of the Habs. There are also big names like Matthews, McDavid, Draisaitl, MacKinnon and Ovechkin.
However, unusual names should be noted among those who did not receive any invitations. If you look at the lists of players who will represent each of the divisions, you will not see the names of Sidney Crosby, Brad Marchand, David Pastrnak, Steven Stamkos or John Carlson.
There is even the fact that Nazem Kadri received no invitation that frustrated Nathan MacKinnon. He did not hesitate to share it with the media.
The Avalanche star player is not wrong on one point. This is not a participation game, but a star game! So there are several players who have no business being there, but who are only present because of the rule that there must be at least one player from each of the 32 teams.
In your opinion, who is the player who has not received an invitation that deserves his place in this annual classic?
