Dominique Ducharme spoke to the media this morning following his team's morning practice. Despite a great collective effort yesterday, the Habs still lost to the Hurricanes by a score of 4-1.
The Tricolore is now limited to a mediocre record of 0 wins and 5 losses. The Montreal pilot believes that his club is better than a team behind 0-5. He is confident that his men will get their feet out of the mud, if they take their game up a notch.
"We're better than 0-5, that's for sure," he said Friday at a press briefing following his team's practice. "There are two games where we deserved zero points and nothing at all. We gave ourselves chances in the other three games, but we need to take our game to another level."
Ducharme believes that the current mess is just a phase and that his players will grow from it. A nice statement from the wise man that he is.
"We're going to come out of this stronger," Ducharme said of his team's rough patch. "One thing that's going to happen is we're not going to want to go back in there when we get out of it. It's going to make us better."
