Evander Kane has been cleared following an investigation into potential betting on NHL games. Investigators found no evidence to support the allegations against him.
But the Sharks player is still under the spotlight as more charges have suddenly surfaced and because of these, the San Jose-based team will not allow Kane to participate in training camp and team activities.
There are talks of domestic violence in the divorce proceedings of Evander Kane. As a result, the NHL has opened a second investigation to ensure that these new allegations are either false or true... Until that process is concluded, the National Hockey League will not be making any comments.
With all these stories, it's true that it's better to keep Kane away from the team, he who, despite his innocence in the case of illegal betting, has never been a angel.
