Hockey Canada announced that Jeremy Colliton will be the head coach of Canada at the next Olympic Games in Beijing. He will take Claude Julien's place, who won't be able to travel, due to an injury.
The former Habs pilot was injured during a training session of his team in Switzerland, when he broke his ribs by falling on the ice.
Colliton has some experience as a pilot, having been the head coach of the Chicago Blackhawks for three seasons before being fired last November.
He will be able to demonstrate his skills in this competition and hope to return to the NHL eventually.
