As reported by Guillaume Lepage (NHL.com), it is finally tonight that the promising Shane Wright will have his famous dinner with the Montreal Canadiens' executives, an important moment for him:
"Shane Wright will have dinner with #Habs executives tonight in Buffalo and will have his official interview on Wednesday at KeyBank Center. #NHLCombine"
Good news for Wright, he will be the first to go to dinner with the Montreal executives, which is exactly what he wanted. It obviously does not confirm that he will be the first choice overall, but it is a nice sign of confidence and interest.
It will be interesting to see what Kent Hughes will have to say on the subject tomorrow at the press conference, but it could be very interesting and it is often a determining step.
COMBINE 2022
Let's remember that today was officially the start of the famous "Combine", live from Buffalo, and the Tricolore's management didn't waste any time to tackle the Shane Wright file.
They spent most of the day analyzing Wright for a possible selection at No. 1 overall.
Do you think their mind is made up or do you think they may still change their mind? (as to their selection at number one)
