We can't talk about it enough, Montreal Canadiens prospect Lane Hutson is having a truly exceptional, if not historic, rookie season in the NCAA.
A nice last-minute announcement.
In the last few minutes, it was announced that Hutson is officially named player of the month! Not rookie or defender of the month, player of the month!
A first:
Congratulations Lane! Here is a picture that says it all:
"Lost track of all the awards Lane Hutson has won this season? I've got you covered." - Andrew Zadarnowski
And it's only February.
Hutson is on pace to eclipse the number of points scored by the likes of Cole Caufield and Cale Makar in the NCAA. All this in his rookie season!
Hutson is at 35 points in only 25 games. That's extremely solid!
