It's now official since a few hours, the Montreal Canadiens will have the opportunity to draft at the first overall rank next July.
The organization will have the opportunity to get their hands on the exceptional player Shane Wright, who is the favorite to be the first overall pick. Chances are he will be in the Tricolore's lineup next season.
Popular columnist Marc-Olivier Beaudoin had some fun putting together the CH lineup for next year, if Montreal decides to select Wright.
"The 2022-23 #CH offense if Shane Wright is drafted:
Caufield-Suzuki-Anderson
Drouin-Wright-Gallagher
R.Pitlick-Dvorak-Ylönen
Byron/Pezzetta-Evans-Poehling
Trade Hoffman/Armia this summer (if possible) and Drouin/Byron at the next deadline." - Marc-Olivier Beaudoin
Do you like the idea? What would be your prediction of the CH's 2022-23 offense?
