The players of the Montreal Canadiens are experiencing several rebounds since last night.
Stuck at their hotel in Denver due to the weather and a mechanical failure on their plane, Martin St-Louis' men didn't even know if they would be able to face the Stars in Dallas tomorrow.
The presentation of the game was really in question and we were waiting for news.
The verdict is in.
We have finally learned that the CH should be able to travel to Dallas by tomorrow. The duel between Montreal and Dallas will officially take place.
Chantal Machabée made the announcement to members of the media.
"Chantal Machabée confirms that following discussions with the NHL, we can now confirm that tomorrow's game will take place as scheduled in Dallas." - Luc Gélinas
Recall, indeed, that last night the Habs' flight was delayed due to a storm, and by the time they flew out today, everyone had to return to the Denver hotel due to a mechanical failure.
Big day for the Tricolore!
"The collective bargaining agreement requires NHL teams to give players three days off at Christmas, unless December 26 is a Saturday, then it's two days.
It also explains why the CH is concerned about the weather in Montreal and the club will not compromise safety." - Luc Gélinas
More details will follow.
