Quebec goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury is certainly one of the world's most beloved and appreciative athletes.
We always wish him the best, and we hate it when things don't go well for him.
This is especially the case right now.
According to what Michael Russo, reporter covering the Minnesota Wild for The Athletic, goalie Marc-Andre Fleury has just left the Wild organization for personal reasons.
Also according to Russo, Fleury is unfortunately currently dealing with personal issues.
He suddenly left Minnesota, returning to Quebec, and he should normally stay here until Tuesday.
No matter what is going on in his life, we are sending him tons of positive vibes and thinking about him.
I've never seen a goalie criticize himself harshly like Fleury is doing tonight. He slams things, he apologizes to his teammates all the time, he sacks, he says 5 goals should be a win every time
I can tell you that MAF dealt with a deep personal issue last week and he leaves the Wild tonight until Tuesday.
Fleury allowed six goals yesterday in a 6-5 Wild overtime loss to the Buffalo Sabres.
So far this season, the 38-year-old goaltender has maintained a 2.94 goals-against average and .901 save percentage in 25 games.
