We had a great radio moment today on BPM Sports, between the very colorful Jean-Charles Lajoie and Tony Marinaro.
Obviously, nothing personal, but a good old fashioned emotional and highly entertaining discussion about hockey.
The topic here was goalie Jake Allen, his two-year contract, and a possible trade involving him.
Check it out:
We love it! Two passionate people!
On JiC's side, let's mention that he brings a rather worrying point for the general manager of the Montreal Canadiens, Kent Hughes.
He believes that the CH will have difficulty trading Allen because of his contract of nearly 4 million dollars per year.
Do you agree? Do you even think that Allen should be traded?
One thing is for sure, it gave us a good segment as we like them, and the question is certainly worth asking, especially with the impressive emergence of Samuel Montembeault.
Will Allen be traded?
Personally, we think it would be better to keep Allen, who can be a solid mentor for "Monty".
