For those who don't know yet, Jacob Trouba took a more than questionable hit on Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby in Game 5 of the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Crosby did not return to the game and the Rangers left New York with a win.

We learned Friday that Crosby will not dress for Game 6 of the series as he continues to deal with the effects of the "upper body" injury he suffered from the hit. The NHL also decided not to fine or further discipline Trouba, believing there was no ill intent on his part.

On the sidelines of Game 6 of the series, Trouba commented on the whole thing.

"I kind of tried to stick on the puck when he was going to shoot. My stick went between his legs and hit his thigh, kind of pushed my arm up. It wasn't an extremely hard contact. Unfortunately, you never want to see a guy get hurt. I don't know exactly what the injury is, but I hope he gets better soon." - Jacob Trouba

Needless to say, he knows he'll get a bad reception from the Pens faithful tonight, but don't expect it to bother him. Here's what he said with a little smirk on his face:

"It's okay. It won't be the first time." - Jacob Trouba

Game 6 between the Penguins and Rangers promises. You can watch it starting at 7pm this Friday night.
