As you know, tonight, the Montreal Canadiens have a date with Jeff Petry and the Pittsburgh Penguins, live from the Bell Centre.
Petry spoke to the media in the last few hours, and he made a surprising statement about his trade with the Penguins:
"It's been a relief. It's been a tough year. I'm happy to have this fresh start with a very talented team. It's a breath of fresh air."
- Reported by Patrick Friolet, RDS
He certainly didn't mean any harm, but let's just say that statement got a lot of Canadiens fans in a tizzy.
The word "relief" says it all, and many fans (in comments) detect an unnecessary jab directed at the CH organization (in connection with the trade). Especially when he talks about "a breath of fresh air".
You be the judge, but it's all the rage on social networks right now!
