Vaccinated or not, that decision is yours. It's none of my business. On the other hand, if we learn that a Habs player was not vaccinated for a good reason, it's important to share this information. The case that interests us at the moment remains the one of Jesse Ylonen, who absolutely does not want to receive the vaccine.
The Canadiens' prospect has a damn good reason to justify this decision. According to Martin Leclerc on 91.9 Sports Wednesday morning, there was a traumatic event in Ylonen's family related to the vaccine. We can therefore understand this logical decision of the 21-year-old.
I have no idea how Ylonen' situation will turn out: Will he be loaned to a team in Finland? Will he be suspended without pay? Will he decide to opt for vaccination soon? We all wonder, as I write these words, what direction the Montreal franchise will take with one of its top prospects.
