A very sad news suddenly arrived today in the hockey world. Former NHL forward Jimmy Hayes, brother of Kevin Hayes of the Philadelphia Flyers, passed away at the age of 31. However, we do not know the cause of death yet.
Hayes leaves behind him his wife Kristen, his two sons of 2 and 3 months, his brother Kevin Hayes, as well as his three sisters and his parents.
The American winger played for the Chicago Blackhawks, Florida Panthers, Boston Bruins and New Jersey Devils during his seven NHL seasons. He had 109 points in 334 NHL games.
