The famous World Junior Hockey Championship final between Canada and the Czech Republic is fast approaching and we are looking forward to it.
It should be very interesting, especially since Canada's only loss in this tournament was against the Czech Republic. Team Canada will try to correct the situation and get revenge.
Clearly, the players have not forgotten that, and Montreal Canadiens prospect Joshua Roy made a strong statement on the subject:
"I mean, they were pretty cocky. So, we're not going to forget that. They were celebrating like they won the gold medal." - Joshua Roy
A quick tip to the Czechs.
We love that confidence. By the way, this statement is amusingly reminiscent of the words of a certain Nikita Kucherov, who had gone after, precisely, the Montreal Canadiens in 2021:
"The fans in Montreal were arrogant. They were celebrating like they had just won the Stanley Cup and we haven't forgotten it. Are you serious? Their final was in the third round!" - Nikita Kucherov
Was the Czech's finals in their first game against Canada? We'll see tonight!
What is your prediction for the game?
