As the Montreal Canadiens players just hit the ice for their morning practice for today's game against the Dallas Stars, there is a surprise.
Juraj Slafkovsky is absent with an injury:
Slafkovsky suffered an upper body injury, possibly as a result of contact with Josh Brown of the Arizona Coyotes.
Slafkovsky will miss the game against the Dallas Stars, and it's an injury that comes at a very bad time for the youngster, but at least it seems minor.
