As the deadline for transactions approaches, several Canadiens players find themselves in various rumours of transactions.

It should be said that it would not be at all surprising to see the new general manager Kent Hughes as a salesman on March 21.

The CH currently has several interesting players for teams that have chances to advance to the playoffs.

That is what journalist Pierre LeBrun said, and he confirmed that the Calgary Flames were looking for depth in offense.

Currently in fourth place in the Pacific Division, Darryl Sutter's troop is at the height of the battle for a playoff berth. The Flames GM must therefore most likely be interested in the natural scorer that is Tyler Toffoli.

A former 30-goal scorer, Toffoli has a more than an interesting contract, ordering only $4.25 million until 2024.

LeBrun mentions that the Flames are looking for a forward and it is clear that Toffoli would be a good «fit» for this Canadian team.

Otherwise, the Flames could also show interest in Arturri Lehkonen, who has shown a lot of good things since the beginning of the year. Hard worker, number 62 could certainly fit in with Sutter's culture.

In addition, journalist Frank Seravalli has published his top-5 Habs players who are most at risk of moving in the coming weeks. The two players mentioned above will be there with Jeff Petry, Ben Chiarot and Brett Kulak.

The next few weeks will therefore be decisive for the future of the Habs. On the Flames side, could young Jakob Pelletier be under the Canadiens' radar?
