As the National Hockey League slowly begins to move again, the excellent tipster Kevin Weekes (ESPN, TSN and NHL Network) has just announced that there will be "one more deal or more made."
He doesn't necessarily give a specific time frame, but we understand that it's imminent and the deadline appears to be the start of the season.
So we should expect at least one more trade, involving a goalie, between now and the start of the season, in the NHL.
" ** Keep an eye on **
The goalie market is not completely settled yet, there is still a trade or more to take place." - Kevin Weekes
Interesting! The night he released this information, Weekes also posted this series of messages:
That doesn't mean there's a connection, but it's still intriguing and we'll be watching this for you, because with the major news regarding Carey Price, we shouldn't be surprised if Kent Hughes is active in the goalie market.
Names like Dustin Wolf, Lukas Dostal, Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, Devon Levi, Linus Ullmark, etc. could be interesting for Montreal. Relatively young goalies with good number one potential.
