Canadiens Announce Schedule Change Due to Early Game Start in Anaheim
It's game day for the Montreal Canadiens. Martin St-Louis' team is currently in California, in Anaheim, in preparation for the game against the Anaheim Ducks scheduled for 4:00 PM today.
As reported by Maxime Truman, the usual schedule for the Canadiens has been changed today.
Because the game will take place in the afternoon, at 4:00 PM here but at 1:00 PM local time, there will be no morning practice today for the Canadiens.
There will even be no media availability for Martin St-Louis and his players, so we will most likely have to wait for the warm-up session to learn about any changes to the lineup.
An unusual schedule today for the Montreal Canadiens
See the details.
Since the Canadiens play at 1:00 PM local time (4:00 PM Quebec time), the team will not hold a practice, and there will be no media availability. We'll have to wait to see who will be in the lineup and who won't.
The AHL Skills Competition will begin at 6:00 PM local time and is about a 1.5-hour drive from the Ducks' arena.
It would be tight for Beck and Mailloux, but physically possible. We'll see.

This will be a story to follow, and rest assured that we will keep you updated on every development.
One of the questions that keeps coming up lately is the following:
Who will be the starting goalie?
We may already have our answer, because Samuel Montembeault was at a press conference in the last few hours and was made available to journalists, unlike Jakub Dobes.
This seems to indicate that Montembeault will be the starting goalie today, but let's wait and see.
At 23 years old, 6 feet 4 inches, and 215 pounds, Dobes has a record of 5-1-1 this season, with a goals-against average of 2.10 and a save percentage of 0.927.
At 28 years old, 6 feet 3 inches, and 218 pounds, Montembeault has a record of 17-18-3 this season, with a goals-against average of 2.99 and a save percentage of 0.899.
