Major: Jake Allen had a lot to say about Sam Montembeault and the Canadiens' decision to end the goalie rotation
This isn't the first time it's happened, but Montreal Canadiens goaltender Jake Allen has again found a superb way to impress us in a press conference.
As we reported, a very big decision was made by the CH, and the goaltender rotation has officially been broken.
Samuel Montembeault will be in net against the Kings, and everything indicates that Allen and Cayden Primeau will really play less in the coming weeks.
Allen was questioned on this subject.
Not only did he agree to answer these more daring questions, but also, as a great professional and a superb teammate, he gave an answer that says a lot about him.
"Samuel Montembeault will get a 2nd straight start against the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday.
Jake Allen: "He deserves to play. He's been one of the best goaltenders in the league for 3 weeks. I'll get my chance, so will Cayden."

And then Allen sent a big message to praise Montembeault and speak positively about the Quebec goalie.
It's really rare to see that, but we love it.
Allen is literally praising the one who is stealing his job and he's putting in more than what the customer asks for. It takes a lot of class!
Hats off, Jake!
