According to what journalist Marc-André Perreault of TVA Sports reported, the unveiling of the next general manager of the Montreal Canadiens could be announced this Wednesday.
The committee composed of Geoff Molson, Jeff Gorton, Bob Gainey and Michael Andlauer would be in huge consideration right now, who will be the chosen one.
One thing is certain, the committee wants to make a decision quickly, considering the media coverage. However, the panel would not want to make the announcement on game day.
Remember that the Habs will play games this Monday (Coyotes) and Tuesday (Stars).
Mathieu Darche, Daniel Briere and Kent Hughes would be the top three candidates, but other possibilities should not be ruled out. There could be surprises, according to the journalist.
