We already knew that he would unfortunately miss tonight's game against the Chicago Blackhawks, but now we have more specific news about Arber Xhekaj's health.
Check out what the Montreal Canadiens organization just released:
"Defenseman Arber Xhekaj suffered an upper-body injury against the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday and will be out indefinitely."
- Montreal Canadiens
Our fears are confirmed, Sheriff is injured and will be out indefinitely. We can't expect to see him back in the CH lineup anytime soon and it's clear that this is a big loss.
As you know, during the most recent game against the Edmonton Oilers, Montreal Canadiens defenseman Arber Xhekaj was unfortunately injured in a fight with Vincent Desharnais.
It clearly seems to be a shoulder injury.
Xhekaj, 22 years old, has 13 points (5 goals) in 51 games this season and has received 101 penalty minutes.
More details to follow.
