The National Hockey League made some big news yesterday when they announced that they'll be changing their jersey manufacturer from adidas to Fanatics starting in 2024.

Yesterday's news came with backlash on Twitter, with the majority of hockey fans not wanting Fanatics to to take over as the quality of their replica uniforms they currently make is quite poor.

There are several other uniform manufacturers that the National Hockey League could have gone with, but one of the biggest brands in the world declined to bid for the jersey rights.

Reportedly, Nike is trying to distance themselves from hockey and refused to place a big for the NHL's jersey rights in 2024. Currently, Nike is the official uniform supplier for Major League Baseball and the National Basketball Association.

It's hard to say how the new uniforms are going to look under Fanatics, but they announced on Tuesday that they will be using the same Quebec-based location where adidas was making their uniforms for the NHL. They also mentioned that there likely won't be any major design changes for teams for at least the first three years of the deal.
