Yesterday we reported that according to Renaud Lavoie, Patrick Roy will be met by the Habs by the end of the week.
However, the former Habs goalie made a shocking revelation today.
"I read like you did this morning that Renaud Lavoie said I would have a meeting. All I can tell you right now is that there is no meeting scheduled yet."
Roy is still waiting for the call from the Tricolore...
"I'm going to wait and see what happens in my case." - Patrick Roy
If this statement from Patrick Roy turns out to be true, Habs fans would be greatly disappointed. The Tricolore legend is definitely the people's favorite candidate, so this would be quite a cold shower poured over the heads of hockey fans in Montreal.
The question I have is: who is telling the truth?
Roy is known for making high-profile public appearances. Perhaps this method is to keep a minimum of anonymity in the process.
On the other hand, why would Renaud Lavoie reveal this kind of information, if it wasn't set in stone? He risks his reputation, after all.
