On Martin Lemay's most recent show on BPM Sports, the excellent Bob Hartley was on hand and he made a very interesting statement.
It concerns Sidney Crosby, and a certain Nick Suzuki:
"For poise, Suzuki is in the same league as Crosby and Toews." - Bob Hartley
Wow! Careful here, we shouldn't think that Bob Hartley believes Suzuki is the next Sidney Crosby, but in terms of poise, he sees similarities and we would tend to believe him 100%.
For those of you who are wondering if Suzuki would make a good captain, if he's ready, a statement like that really speaks volumes!
According to former head coach Hartley, there is no doubt that Nick Suzuki should be the next captain of the Montreal Canadiens.
However, he says that the other player who could get the job is Joel Edmundson.
In light of all this, who do you think would be the right choice?
Hartley even thinks he has Joe Sakic in his nose. That's quite a statement!
