With Jeff Petry's controversial comments on Tuesday night, specifically targeting his team's structure, including Dominique Ducharme, several analysts have brought up in-depth analysis of the situation.
David Savard, however, came to his head coach's defense Wednesday morning, showing great leadership, unlike Petry.
Analyst Martin Lemay spoke about the subject today on 91.9 Sports. According to him, it's not really a surprise because Jeff Petry is just not a good leader. With the absence of Shea Weber and Carey Price, Petry has had to take on more responsibility. A role that really doesn't suit him...
He used the example of the time when Petry played with the Edmonton Oilers as a number one defenseman. A time when Petry was in a slump. He has resurrected with the CH in a more self-effacing role.
Hunt the natural and it will come back.
