Martin St-Louis announces the next step for Carey Price and there's a little twist
In the last few seconds, Montreal Canadiens interim head coach Martin St-Louis was in attendance for his press conference today and he received a lot of questions about Carey Price.
One of the things he announced was a small turnaround in the team's fortunes. While the team announced yesterday that number 31 would not be traveling with his teammates, in New York, there is a change.
Price will finally travel with the team, but for medical reasons:
"Carey Price will travel with the team to New York for a medical evaluation." - Montreal Canadiens
He will have the opportunity to meet with the doctors who operated on him, and his status remains Day-to-day or Au jour le jour.
"Carey Price is accompanying the club to NY for this final road game of the season. We won't see him on the ice though. He's going to NY for a medical follow-up with the doctor who operated on his knee last summer." - Luc Gélinas
