Ben Chiarot is one of the soldiers who should be leaving the Montreal ship shortly. We are talking about the Rangers, or the Oilers, but another team has to be added to the derby, the Toronto Maple Leafs.
In fact, Martin McGuire has spoken on this and he believes it would be a perfect marriage for both parties.
«Most teams need the same type. For the playoffs, you prefer to have a big and big defenseman who can play a pretty physical style, who can be good defensively and who can bring you stability. The Canadiens have that on their team. His name is Ben Chiarot. He's out of contract and he's going to be traded. For example : the interesting marriage for a guy like Ben Chiarot would be Toronto," said McGuire.
But will the new organization chart be inclined to help its worst enemy? If the offer contains a young player labelled «NHL», in addition to a draft pick, let's put the guns aside and conclude, shall we? No matter the team, if the offer is perfect, GO!
