We told you about it earlier this week, but Sportsnet raised a trade proposal between the Montreal Canadiens and the Vancouver Canucks, and it caused a huge stir.

You be the judge:

To the Montreal Canadiens -

Bo Horvat (C)

To the Vancouver Canucks -

David Savard (D), Jayden Struble (D), Owen Beck (C), the Panthers' 2023 first round pick + a 2024 third round pick.

Many analysts have recently revisited this trade suggestion, and the vast majority believe that Kent Hughes absolutely should not do this, mostly because Beck and the Panthers' 2023 first round pick are too valuable.

Plus, it would be illogical with the Habs' current plan.

Anyway, there's one expert who disagrees with this. In his case, Yvon Pedneault would be willing to pay a lot to bring Horvat to Montreal.

Check out what he had to say on BPM Sports:

"After careful consideration, I like it!" - Yvon Pedneault

Pedneault went on to add that the CH would have to make sure they sign Horvat long-term, however, before officially agreeing to the trade.

He believes that Horvat could be the "Artemi Panarin" of the Montreal Canadiens, when compared to the Rangers rebuild.

Personally, we really wouldn't make this trade, but do you agree with Pedneault's comments?
