Quebec Nordiques Minister Eric Girard travelled to New York yesterday to meet with NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman in the NHL's office.
Jérôme Landry, from FM93 in Quebec City, gave more details on this meeting.
NEW: The "courtesy meeting" between Minister Eric Girard and Gary Bettman lasted 45 minutes today in New York. No further meetings planned at this time. The plan to bring 5 Senators games to Quebec City is still on the table."
So this will be a file to follow but it is certainly the start for something bigger.
It could be a test to see how they would do with these 5 home games.
