Carey Price has not played a single game in this disastrous 2021-2022 season for the Tricolore.

The Habs starting goalie is recovering from knee surgery and has been going through the NHL's player assistance program for substance abuse issues.

Dominique Ducharme gave a little update on his condition, as to when number 31 will return to play. It doesn't seem to be in a short time frame, if we go by deduction.

According to the head coach, Price was supposed to meet with his doctor in New York virtually in the last few days, but that appointment has been postponed. He is, however, in Brossard for treatments today.

Ducharme also confirmed that Price had not set foot on the ice since mid-December, almost a month.

It's unclear when Carey will return to the game, but considering his inactivity, it would be surprising if he came back anytime soon.

Jeff Petry, who was on the NHL's COVID-19 protocol, was still in the US. However, he will be back in Montreal on Monday and will practice on Tuesday.

Cayden Primeau, for his part, will join his team in Boston for Wednesday's game. Remember that he was also on the protocol.
