In an interview on BPM Sports in the last few hours, analyst Norman Flynn came back to the Logan Mailloux file and made a rather bold suggestion. As you can imagine, there are many reactions from fans.
According to Flynn, the Montreal Canadiens should offer Mailloux a contract, but he should donate half his salary to victims of sexual abuse:
"I would have him sign a contract and I would say, behind closed doors, 'You're going to give 50 per cent of your salary to victims of sexual abuse'." - Norman Flynn
According to him, this would be a great way to show that he is truly repentant. Flynn added that if he were a counselor, that's what he would say, "to get that stain off the kid's record."
But otherwise, Flynn insists that everything he's heard about Mailloux as a hockey player is positive.
Do you agree with him? Do you think Mailloux has paid enough?
Other than that, Norman Flynn definitely believes the youngster has a future in hockey. For the full excerpt and details:
