Hayley Wickenheiser, one of the best players in history, is downright outraged by the IIHF's decision to retain the Men's Under-20 Championship but cancel the Women's Under-18 Championship.
Its publication speaks for itself and is very easy to understand. You Know, when it is said that money leads the world, here is a perfect proof!
"It has nothing to do with security, if they can pull out of the WJ. Where there is a will, there is always a path. I question the 'will' part." - Hayley Wickenheiser
Other players have obviously spoken out about this, and I have to say that I am behind them.
Kendall Coyne Schofield, Shannon Szabados, Meghan Duggan, and Sarah Nurse were all on Twitter, proving that they are women of character.
An injustice and lack of leadership from the IIHF, which acted by listening to the whispers of money... Pitiful!
