P.K. Subban is already causing a stir in his new job
During a recent game between the New York Rangers and the Washington Capitals, Rangers' defenseman Ryan Lindgren was injured following a hit by Capitals' forward T.J. Oshie.
An action that Rangers' coach Gerard Gallant described as a cheap shot after the game.

During the first intermission of the game on the ESPN network, former NHLers Mark Messier and P.K. Subban debated the issue.
Surprisingly, Messier placed the responsibility for the injury on Lindgren, arguing that the Rangers' defenseman should have done a better job of protecting himself.
The opinion was enough to leave Subban shaking his head in disgust live on air as Messier shared his thoughts on the hit.
