Currently, the Pittsburgh Penguins are going through a very difficult sequence, and it's really not going well for them.
Sidney Crosby's team is on a six-game losing streak, and there is some frustration in the dressing room.
Yesterday, they blew a 3-1 lead and lost 6-3 to the Buffalo Sabres.
One of the people who is unfortunately contributing a lot to the Penguins' failures is former Montreal Canadiens defenseman Jeff Petry. Pittsburgh reporters can't believe how badly he's playing and how uncommitted he seems.
Clearly, to date, he's not delivering the goods and he's not the solid defenseman the Penguins thought they were getting.
"For all the criticism Brian Dumoulin is rightfully receiving right now, Jeff Petry is just as bad." - Josh Yohe Petry seems disinterested right now. He has 4 points in 11 games and will need to give more. Last night he finished the game with a negative minus two differential and no points.
Do you think Jeff Petry can ever be a dominant defenseman in the NHL again?
In any case, the Pittsburgh Penguins fans are already on his case and they don't like this acquisition at all.
