One of the biggest concerns for Montreal Canadiens fans (and players) right now is the health of goaltender Carey Price, who is scheduled to return to see his surgeon in New York and who seems to have aggravated his knee injury.

Some observers, experts, and former coaches have even raised the possibility that Carey could retire from the NHL sooner rather than later.

However, the excellent informer Pierre LeBrun (TSN) went to the source and he just came up with some excellent news.

Despite the recent very disturbing news and rumours, LeBrun says Price's plans have not changed.

"For sure, he wants to get reassurance from the doctor in New York about his knee. This summer, it's going to be very important for Carey Price to come up with a plan in his training to reassure himself about what he's doing with his knee." - Pierre LeBrun

As reported by our colleagues at DansLesCoulisses.com,it is indeed possible that No. 31 has suffered a minor injury, but it's far too early to talk about retirement.

On the contrary, according to LeBrun, his visit to the doctor (in New York) would only be to reassure him and Carey Price has every intention of playing next season.

That could change, but that's still the current plan. We love to hear that!
