New York Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin had an outstanding game yesterday. Not only was he solid in front of the net, but he also had two assists.
He is the first goalie in NHL history to have two assists in a playoff game when his team was facing elimination.
Two assists for Shesterkin is one more than Jesperi Kotkaniemi in the current playoffs.
Shameful, isn't it?
Of course, it's a very useless comparison, but it shows, unfortunately, KK's difficulties in the playoffs.
