Absolutely no one expected to see him play in the American Hockey League this season, let alone in the National Hockey League, but due to his surprising (and very quick) elimination, Shane Wright is back.
The Seattle Kraken organization has just announced that Shane Wright has been assigned to the Coachella Valley Firebirds in the AHL.
This completely changes the plans, but it will be an interesting case to follow.
Wright, 19, has:
- 2 points in 8 NHL games
- 4 points in 5 games in the AHL
- 37 points in 20 games in the OHL (3 games in 4 nights in playoffs).
More details will follow.
