Last night, it was the turn of the fourth overall pick in the 2022 NHL draft to play his first preseason game.

Shane Wright ended up with zero points, three shots on net, one turnover and just over 13 minutes of play.

Remember that yesterday, a very disappointing story was revealed publicly about Wright:

According to a Seattle reporter, Wright did throw fits at American League coaches like Dan Bylsma.

"He was concerned about it. At one point, Dan Bylsma gave an instruction and Wright looked at him and wanted to say, 'What the hell!?' It's a little bit of a worry. It's primadonna! I'll give you both sides of the coin, but the guy on the podcast picked it up (Shane Wright)!" - Mathias Brunet, on BPM Sports

Yesterday, Wright didn't play like a guy who is allowed to give his coaches attitude. Not only was he bad in the faceoff circle, he was the worst player on his team, according to data compiled by hockeystatcards.com.

Doing attitude to a coach at 18 is a very bad sign. Doing it while not delivering on the ice is even worse.

To be continued, Wright is still young and still has plenty of time to mature.
