Jonathan Drouin should be back at the next Montreal Canadiens training camp next fall, which shows that the young man seems to be doing well mentally. Because, at the end of the day, what is important is that the individual is back in shape. Nevertheless, if we are talking about the player, he could leave the Montreal Canadiens' environment.
According to Darren Dreger's information that he filed yesterday morning, teams have shown interest in the services of Jonathan Drouin. The corridor of discussions has been opened to a few cities, but nothing has been very serious in terms of trade. These discussions took place before the last deadline, but could resume shortly as the news about Drouin's health is excellent.
As Dreger said, teams are always interested in acquiring a talented player. Then, despite his shortcomings, Drouin is still a very talented player. He's fluid, he's got great hands and he's known as a great passer. Even if he doesn't show up in heavy traffic in good form, he's able to come through with masterful passes and dekes.
None of this is to say that Drouin will leave Montreal, but it's not impossible, especially since he wants peace of mind, it might be best for him to leave this environment. After all, it was a tough season for number 92 as he recorded 23 points in 44 games.
