A few minutes after the Montreal Canadiens' optional practice, head coach Martin St-Louis spoke to reporters and made two very interesting announcements.
First, he announced the identity of his starting goalie:
"Head coach Martin St-Louis confirms that Samuel Montembeault will get the start against the Jets on Thursday." - Montreal Canadiens This will be Montembeault's fourth start of the season, as he has a 2-1 record this season, while maintaining a 2.32 goals-against average and .931 save percentage.
An announcement tomorrow for Edmundson
Also, St-Louis announced that we'll have to wait for official confirmation in a few hours, but there is a "big possibility" that Edmundson will play tomorrow (according to Martin St-Louis).
This will be a major addition to the Tricolore's young defensive brigade, and it will be interesting to see who gets the nod for this return to action.
We'll have some important answers tomorrow.
Stay tuned, it's going to be exciting! Which defenseman do you think will be out of the lineup tomorrow?
