In the last few seconds, head coach Martin St-Louis revealed his first three of the season, and Jonathan Drouin's position is curious.
Caufield-Suzuki-Anderson
Dach-Monahan-Hoffman (Drouin)
Slafkovsky-Dvorak-Gallagher
Pitlick-Evans-Dadonov
Here are the "official" 2022-23 Montreal Canadiens' first trios.
As for Jonathan Drouin, he alternates with Mike Hoffman on the trio of Dach and Monahan (who themselves alternate at center). Note however that most journalists list Hoffman as the "main" player of this trio.
A file to follow closely. An imminent announcement for Jonathan Drouin, will he be removed from the lineup? Will he be traded?
You can guess that the fans are talking about it a lot, right now, on social networks.
More details will follow!
