Following the important announcement concerning Jeff Petry, the Habs organization had several other important updates to offer this morning, including :
- Jake Allen will be in net tonight against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
- Brendan Gallagher will not be making the trip with his teammates tonight, nor will Ryan Poehling. (after the game)
- Carey Price is still at home (non-COVID related illness).
- Kale Clague was wearing a regular jersey today, so he seems close to a return to action.
- With the injury to Jeff Petry, we thought maybe Justin Barron was going to be inserted in the lineup, but no. He's working overtime this morning, along with Mathieu Perreault and Kale Clague (left out). All indications are that Barron will still have to wait before playing his first game with the CH.
- William Lagesson, for his part, will obviously play his first game with the Tricolore, replacing Jeff Petry. He was made available to the media.
