Heading into their matchup against the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Habs are preparing like they should.
With the Habs anemic offense, in addition to the failing massive offense, we were all wondering why Dominique Ducharme didn't form a power play unit with his big guns. It's easy to think of a unit with Cole Caufield, Nick Suzuki and Mike Hoffman.
However, prayers were finally answered as the first wave of the power play this morning included Caufield, Suzuki, Hoffman, Drouin and Chiarot. Caufield on the left flank and Hoffman on the right wing.
My ideal would have been to have Kale Clague running the five-man offense, but then again, you can't expect too much. Ben Chiarot is the defenseman who has played with the most character since the beginning of the season. There is a certain logic to it.
It looks good, let's face it. There is very little the Tricolore can boast about this season, but this unit is the most likely to fill the opposing net.
