Things are changing for the Montreal Canadiens as Jonathan Drouin (upper body) returned to Montreal for further testing. As Samuel Montembeault suffered a minor injury and as Michael McNiven was called back in support from the taxi-squad. McNiven will therefore be Cayden Primeau's auxiliary against the Colorado Avalanche.
In addition, Josh Anderson and Jeff Petry are uncertain cases for tonight's meeting. A decision will be made following the warm-up period.
