With the Montreal Canadiens' miserable season, we can quietly get used to the idea that the Habs will have a good draft pick. Montreal might even get the very first pick in the 2021 auction.
Who could be the player selected first overall? Shane Wright is bound to be the lucky one.
He has just been selected by Team Canada to participate in the upcoming World Junior Hockey Championship.
The young center even received praise from assistant coach Louis Robitaille. According to him, Shane Wright reminds him of none other than Patrice Bergeron, captain of the Boston Bruins.
He's not the most flamboyant on the ice, but everything he does, he does with excellence, much like Bergeron.
The Habs would be very lucky to get their hands on this young prodigy. Like Bergeron, Wright has the tools to become a franchise player, there is no doubt in my mind.
