The Florida Panthers had a full first half of the season, as they were first in the NHL after 41 games.

Andrew Brunette's team has an excellent record of 28-8-5 and his +50 differential is all the more impressive. There are no less than six players in the roster with more than 30 points.

As the trade deadline approaches, it would not be at all surprising to see GM Bill Zito being aggressive on the market.

Among the most interesting players available is of course Arizona Coyote defender Jakob Chychrun.

Several journalists have linked the rights defenseman's name to the Panthers in recent weeks. The prize requested by the Coyotes had even been unveiled: Anton Lundell, Spencer Knight and a first-round pick.

It must be said that it would be extremely expensive for the Panthers. However, according to the well-known Elliotte Friedman, Florida would be thoroughly involved in this matter and would be ready to acquire the services of Chychrun.

Imagine the scenario, in addition to the monstrous attack and defenders Aaron Ekblad, Mackenzie Weegar and Gustav Forsling, the name Chychrun is added.

The Panthers are already among the favourites to win the top honours and it will be interesting to follow the work of the general manager in the coming weeks.

Of course, there is a good chance that Jakob Chychrun will be exchanged with everything that is happening in Arizona in a short while. Would it be a good fit for the Panthers?
