To VEGAS - Future Considerations
TO CAROLINA - Max Pacioretty and Dylan Coghlan
You read that right, the Golden Knights just gave Max Pacioretty away for free (they are releasing 100% of his salary)
Pacioretty, 33, was traded from the Habs to the Knights in September 2018 for Tomas Tatar, Nick Suzuki and a second-round pick. He has 37 points in 39 games in 2021-22. (19 goals) He earns $7 million per year through 2023.
So in other words, Pacioretty got traded for nothing in return..
